Anne Collins has been working with Kinesiology since 2003. She later advanced her training in Nutri-Kinesiology, receiving certification from the Naturopathy Institute in P.R.A.N.A. (Polarity, Reflex Analysis and Nutritional Assessment) and Advanced Kinesiological Techniques. Anne continued studying hand reflexology, chakra-balancing and healing, also becoming a Reiki master. To compliment working with the afore-mentioned, Anne was certified in the “Eat Right for your Type” programme as devised by Dr. Peter J D’Adamo.

Deirdre McGreevy, Licentiate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a graduate of the highly regarded College of Integrative Acupuncture, Galway, under Linda Heffernan, one of the longest practicing lecturers and practitioners of Acupuncture in Ireland. Deirdre qualified with honours and also completed extensive clinical placement primarily at the Pu Shan Chinese Medicine Centre in Dublin operated by the highly recognised Dr. Wang.
Deirdre is a registered member of AFPA (Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association). Acupuncture Treatments are approved and reimbursable with BUPA, VHI, Quinn Healthcare and many other insurance schemes.

She has helped many men, women and children learn to breath correctly, improve their posture, increase their flexibility and deal more efficiently with daily stress both mentally and physically.

Caroline Donnellan MNRRI has a diploma in Reflexology and is a member of the National Register of Reflexologists(Ireland). Caroline enjoys spreading the word about the many benefits of reflexology, which she first learned of many years ago herself, and which inspired her to train as a Reflexologist A reflexology treatment takes about one hour. Christina Rushe has a background in sport and recreation management that eventually led her to train in Sport massage and remedial therapy. Remedial therapy involves soft tissue manipulation of dysfunctional tissue and rehabilitation of minor soft tissue injuries of the neck, shoulders, back or limbs.
Christina is also a member of the National register of reflexologists (NRRI). Reflexology is the holistic understanding, study and practice of treating points and areas in the feet that relate to corresponding parts of the body.
Reflexology is suitable for all ages and throughout every stage of life. This gentle therapy may bring relief from a wide range of both acute and chronic conditions.

Nicole Lordan is a Fully qualified Massage Therapist / Reflexologist, Dip Wellness Trainer and Relax Kids Teacher.
Originally from Zurich, Switzerland, Nicole came to Ireland in 2008. Her interest in Massage and Complimentary Therapies started many years ago. In 1992 Nicole attended her first Massage Course, but it was not until 1998 (after a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, work experience and lots of travelling) that she decided to put more energy and time into a new career. Nicole completed a two year Wellness Trainer Diploma Course, which is a combination of Relaxation Techniques, Nutrition, Fitness Training and Massage.
She also completed a Diploma Course in Reflexology, Swedish / Sports / Therapeutic / Deep Tissues Massage and Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology..
Nicole further trained in Thai Yoga Massage (in Chiang Mai, Thailand) and Traditional Thai Massage, Yoga, Metamorphic Technique, Cupping, Pranic Healing after Master Choa Kok Sui, Aromatherapy, Dorn Spinal Therapy, Ear Candling, Biotensor and Pendulum and Shiatsu-Massage Namikoshi.
Nicole is a member of the Irish Massage Therapists Association and the National Register of Reflexologists.
In 2008 Nicole completed the Relax Kids Teacher Training Course in London. Children are under a great amount of stress from school, exams, peer pressure and the media. At Relax Kids, it is believed that teaching relaxation techniques to young children, gives them all the tools they need for a life of health, happiness and balance.

Lloyd Malcolm is a Galway native and began studying Amatsu in Jan 2000. Under the tutelage of Christine Duffy and D.O. William Doolin, Lloyd achieved his diploma in Amatsu medicine in October 2002. In 2004-2005 Lloyd also completed a further post grad in the more advanced aspects of Amatsu by studying with D.O. Dennis Bartram in the U.K. Lloyd has returned several times to the U.K. since 2005, to further his training with D.O. Dennis Bartram in the principles of natural movement and Cranial balancing.

Sheelagh Jacobs
Sheelagh worked as an accountant for many years and started her alternative path in 1988 when she did her first reflexology course as a hobby, this became a passion and numerous courses followed. In 1992 she started her own whole health clinic and left the business world behind. She purchased her Quantum Scio (biofeedback) in 2000 and this has been her main focus since then.

Kaz has been working with shiatsu since 2001 and after qualifying, established a healthy business in Liverpool, UK. During this time, Kaz worked with people with MS, women from the local Somali community and at a women’s health & information centre in the city centre, as well as providing private treatments both at her home and house calls.
In addition, Kaz loves to dance and has been working with the 5 Rhythms™ for many years; she also enjoys days out in the wilderness of the land.

Grace Light is a member of the Reiki Federation, Ireland and a Reiki master since 2004.
Grace had a spiritual awakening in 2002 and finds Reiki a wonderful tool to keep balanced. Grace helps clients by working with her hands mainly off the body, clearing, cleansing, strengthening, balancing and protecting their mental and emotional aspects. The client is asked if there is any focus for the healing session and they are assisted in their own process of change by the channelling of energy. Things that no longer serve for good can be cleared away making space for more positive ways of living, feeling calmer, stronger and freer.

Fiona Rooney is a Reiki and Bodywork Practitioner and is a Teacher of Dancing the Rainbow. She combines all her experience to teach participants how to recognise the healing wisdom of the body as it relates to illness, emotion, imagination and creativity. She runs workshops and weekly classes on learning how to live a more authentic, creative life through body awareness, movement, energy work, sound and art.

Marie Murphy is formerly from Co. Monaghan and began karate at the age of 7, continuing until she was 16 yeards old.. She moved to Galway in 1996 to go to college and studied as a Montessori teacher.
Today she is married to Malcolm with two children aged 6 and 7 years old. After becoming a mother she returned to karate.
Marie studies Shotokan Karate under the guidance of Senesi Kato 9th dan, head of the IJKA, Sensei Brian Toomey 6th dan and Sensei Stacey Kelly 2nd dan.
Marie is a professional childcare provider, registered with Galway City and County Childcare committee, Garda vetted, HSE Certified in child protection and has child specific first aid training.
Being a competitive Martial Artist, her achievements for 2009 include IJKA National Championships medal winner, East Coast International Karate Championships runner up, IMAF European Championships (Germany) runner up, IMAF World Championships (Belgium) runner up and after placing 1st in the IMAF Irish Championships has already won her place on the 2010 Irish team.
She also trains in kickboxing, self defence and freestyle karate.
Marie has spent many years trying to find suitable classes for her own children within the martial arts but could only find classes in galway city and these classes did not always provide what she wanted.
So she has decided to research and develop her own system of teaching martial arts for children using her experiance within childcare and martial arts and promote it for the first time here in Tuam"

Born in 1965, Malcolm was a schoolboy International athlete in Track & Field.
In 1985 he started Karate in Monaghan with the only club at the time and as a beginner won his first National Tournament outright. Taking category combat winner, Overall combat winner and Team combat winner.
In 1986 he moved into Mugendo Kickboxing in which he holds the rank of 1st Degree Black and trained with the local club of which he was a founder member and later instructor. He also trained privately with the founder of Mugendo, 'Prof. George Canning'. By 1988 he had founded another two clubs in the North Monaghan area.
It was around this time he began working in Hotel Security as a doorman. There were no systems or courses available at that time so drawing on his Martial Art training and encounters in the hotels devised a basic system for Response & Restraint which he taught to all that worked with him.
Owing to a change in his main employment conditions he moved to Private Martial Art Instruction and furthered his own development with studies of Muay Thai, Bio-Energy. Diet & Nutrition and the incorporation of Sound Athletic Principles to Martial Art Training.
1996 saw a move to Galway where he continued to train alone and over the following years spent considerable time in the gym, Tri-athlon and Marathon training. After competing in a number of marathons and other events he returned to Karate.
Malcolm now trains in Tuam Karate Club under the instruction of Sensei Stacey Kelly 2nd Dan and also travels to Cork to train with Sensei Brian Toomey 6th Dan several times per year and attends Seminars four times per year under the World Head of IJKA Sensei Sadashige Kato 9th Dan.
Malcolm returned to competition in 2009 and won the Irish International Karate Championships in the Kata division. He has a hectic schedule for 2010 beginning with the foundation of a new club 'Faolchú Martial Arts Club' in January his 1st Dan grading in March, European and World Championships by May and then training seminars and local competitions through the rest of the year.
